Composed for Sandra Beccarelli's latest exhibition 'One Hundred Thousand Surfaces Collide' at The Stone Space gallery London.

From the start I wanted Surfaces to sound enlightened and within it I wanted an interplay of sounds from a variety of natural sources. The track is composed with an array of different textures each with their own surface sound. Crystal Bowls ebb and flow whilst sustained guitar weaves, shimmers and builds. The track's heart comes from the evocative tones of a one of a kind handcrafted upright sampled piano called the Una Corda, it’s textural sound allowed me to create a dreamlike environment where it’s inner workings gradually reveal themselves, breaking through the surface.
